Japanese Sword Fittings - Saya Kojiri - Collection
We are listing Japanese antiques, samurai swords, and more! (^-^)
This is a saya-jiri/koji-ri (scabbard end) for a Japanese sword. It is likely for a tanto or wakizashi.
We are told it is from the mid-Edo period. It features a plant motif on a patterned background resembling gyogyo-uchi (fish scale pattern).
