Purchased from KYOEI-TOKYO online store for the retail price of ¥225,000.
I bought it about 18 years ago, but I already had the same model that I use regularly, so this one has been stored unused as a spare.

Features a rare 77mm large aperture fluorite lens with excellent color reproduction, providing a bright and wide field of view!
I personally use it for bird watching and digiscoping, and it makes ordinary fields look like paradise!
*The last reference image is likely a kingfisher on a riverbank, digiscoped with the same scope and possibly a 32x eyepiece.

Body: Approx. 40 x 10 cm
The only drawback is that the body weighs approximately 1.7 kg.
We recommend using a sturdy and robust carbon fiber tripod.

I attached an eyepiece for the first time for this listing and checked it; the lens is clean and the field of view is good.
⚠️ Leica's dual focus knob is designed to be stiff at the front, so please use only the rear part.

Upon checking, it appears that this discontinued product is no longer covered by Leica Japan's warranty.
However, compared to other products, the body is made of metal and is very robustly constructed, so there should be no need for repairs unless there is significant damage such as dropping it.
(My own identical product has been in active use for 18 years without needing repairs. I did send the smaller 62mm scope for repair due to a stiff focus knob, but it didn't make much difference.)

Please consider this hard-to-find, unused 77mm Leica scope.

The box has scratches due to age, and the inner cardboard has some dirt.
Although it is unused and in generally clean condition, it has been stored at home for a long time. Therefore, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor details such as fine dust on the lens.
⚠️ No returns accepted.
