● During his tenure as Minister of Justice in 1976 (Showa 51), the Lockheed scandal, which caused a nationwide uproar regarding former Prime Minister Tanaka, was exposed. Minister Inaba supported the prosecution's claims without exercising his right to command, leading to the arrest of Kakuei Tanaka. He was the Minister of Justice who garnered the most attention at the time.
