Vintage Blue Depression Glass Madrid Butter Dish Fairy Lamp

Beautiful vintage blue Depression glass butter dish in the classic Madrid pattern, styled as a fairy lamp. The domed lid and matching underplate feature wonderfully detailed pressed-glass decoration, and the soft blue glass becomes especially beautiful when illuminated from within with a warm LED tea light. The piece displays beautifully both lit and unlit, with the candlelight highlighting the intricate pattern across the dome. There is one chip on the underside edge of the bottom plate, shown clearly in the photographs. Because of its location, the chip can easily be turned toward the back and is not noticeable when the piece is displayed. A beautiful piece of vintage Depression glass given a new decorative purpose—perfect for a cottage, vintage-inspired bedroom, mantel, or softly lit evening display.
