Ovation USA Concert Classic 1616 Ellegato

This is an Ovation USA Concert Classic. It's an electro-classical guitar. I believe it's from the early 1980s. The original retail price at the time was ¥292,000, making it a highly coveted item. Electro-classical guitars are rare, so a good condition unit is scarce. There is almost no sign of the typical Ovation belly bulge or indentation, and apart from a small crack near the neck joint, I believe it's in good condition considering its age. There are some cracks around the soundhole's plastic decorative part and gaps in the binding, but this is unavoidable due to its age. The neck is almost straight, and there's not much fret wear, suggesting it wasn't played extensively. The battery box snap has been repaired to prevent disconnection, but it's functional. The sound also outputs normally. There was some crackling at the jack, so it was cleaned by a shop and is now fine. USA electro-classical guitars are very valuable nowadays, so please take this opportunity to acquire one. The original hard case is included. As it's an older item, there are minor scratches, but I don't believe there are any noticeable ones that would affect the sound or playability. The strings have just been replaced with D'Addario coated strings. It has a great Ovation sound. The controls are simple volume-only, making it very easy to use.

From the catalog of the time: 5-piece laminated neck adjustable for humidity, 63mm standard scale with 19 frets, Sitka spruce top. Specifically, the VT-10 fan bracing adopted for this model has a structure that slightly suppresses the bass compared to the Ovation Classic. The balanced, warm, and sustained sound is ideal for performance and practice.
