Sewing Machine Motor National DY-151C Speed Limiter, Controller Pedal

This is a National brand sewing machine motor.
It is primarily used to convert treadle sewing machines into motorized ones.
The latter half of the photos show it installed.
If you are attaching it to a treadle sewing machine stand, this set will be sufficient, but
if you are attaching it to the sewing machine body itself, you will need to purchase a separate mounting stay.
This is an old item, but it has been recently maintained and overhauled, so it is in working condition.
Current sewing machine motors for sale do not have a clutch, so they continue to run even when you remove your foot from the controller pedal. However, this model has a mechanism where the needle stops when you release the pedal, engaging a brake.
It is no longer in production.
The last photo shows the separately sold stem fitting for attaching to the machine body, which can be purchased on Amazon for about 500 yen. A motor belt is also required.
