Yoneko Ware Shisa "Wasshoi" Okinawa Guardian Deity Good Fortune Ceramic

Thank you for looking!
I purchased this during my trip to Ishigaki Island, but it was displayed for a few days and then put away.
The scuff above the right eye of the smiling face was there from the beginning.
This is an unglazed Shisa lion from the popular Yoneko Yaki Kobo in Ishigaki Island, Okinawa. Its name is Wasshoi!
Its vibrant colors and adorable expression are sure to lift your spirits just by looking at it.
It is well-made and can be used in various ways to match your interior decor.
As there is no box, it will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped to prevent breakage.
