Condition:
Small stains on the upper left back, right placket, and near the lower left hem.
Otherwise, it is a beautiful item with minimal signs of wear.
All original parts are present and complete.
However, this is a used clothing item stored privately for approximately 30 years.

Allegri was founded in 1954 as a raincoat manufacturer.
Notable designers who have worked for the brand include:

GIORGIO ARMANI
Marithe Francois Girbaud
Martin Margiela
Romeo Gigli
Viktor & ROLF

They also developed the line momentodue with Girbaud.

Allegri often uses technical fabrics (like poly-cotton and nylon, as they started as a raincoat maker), but this fabric, despite being entirely synthetic, has a smooth, soft texture and is lightweight and comfortable to wear.
As the name suggests, it's an original textile that feels like silk.

Can be worn in all seasons except mid-winter and summer.
The chin strap on the collar allows for a stand-neck style.

Given the era, it's likely by Girbaud or Romeo Gigli, but the color scheme of the lining suggests Gigli is more probable.

The pattern is inspired by hunting wear.

It also shows characteristics that connect to C.P. Company after Massimo Osti's departure.

There are rumors that Martin Margiela supervised the brand from '92 to '98.
The four-stitch tag from the late 90s is said to have foreshadowed Maison Margiela's Line ⑩, but there is no official documentation, so it's difficult to say for sure.
