?? Vintage Kutani Ware Japan Hand-Painted Vase (Tsubo) with Birds and Flowers - Showa Era ??

Thank you for viewing m(_ _)m

?? This vase is decorated in the Yoshidaya style (or Yoshidaya-fu), one of Kutani ware's representative painting styles!

?? Color Palette: Characterized by the use of four colors – yellow, green, purple, and indigo blue – without red. The vibrant yellow background is particularly striking.

?? Design: Features a traditional Kacho (flower and bird) motif, with flowers like plum and peony contrasted with blue birds.

?? Decoration: The background is filled with a fine dotted pattern called Jimon (resembling sharkskin), indicating a highly elaborate decoration.

?? Origin: Ishikawa Prefecture (Kutani ware).
Era: Circulates as vintage items, with many produced during the Showa period.

?? Usage: Highly valued as a work of art, it's prized as a modern interior accent for both Japanese-style and Western-style rooms.

■ Size (approximate)
Height: Approx. 44 cm
Opening Diameter: Approx. 13.5 cm

Frame Height: Approx. 40 cm

?? This pot has been modified for use as a lamp.
As shown in photo 6, a base has been attached, and as seen in photos 6 and 7, there are holes in both the pot and the base.
Photos 15 through 17 show the lamp frame.
If you purchase a lampshade separately, it can be used as a lamp.
The lamp socket can accommodate both large and small bulbs. However, it does not come with a plug, so it can be utilized by someone who is able to handle electrical wiring. I believe it will also be a valuable addition to your room's interior decor.

It was made with great care ??
