This is a plane approximately 75 years old.

It is unlikely you will ever find another large plane by Ishido Teruhide from this era.

The plane body is made by Kichiyoshi, but there are no stamps or markings.

In recent years, it has become difficult to obtain good quality oak wood like in the past, and the crafting of large plane bodies has become very rare.

It has been used only for test shavings and is in excellent, beautiful condition.

The plane body has been coated with handle oil for thorough protection.

The winning bidder will receive a box made of cypress, paulownia, or similar wood.
