We are a farmer of Shima Rakkyo (island shallots) on Ie Island, a remote island north of the main island of Okinawa. Shima Rakkyo from Ie Island is long and thin with a great flavor, and is highly regarded in the market. Please compare it with other production areas in Okinawa Prefecture. We are confident in our quality.

For children, they are delicious fried as tempura, with a spreading sweetness. For parents, they are perfect as a snack with sake, served raw with soy sauce and bonito flakes.

They also seem to have a blood-thinning effect.

We will ship them loose. They will be delivered in new cardboard boxes, so thank you for your understanding!

Basically, we harvest on the day we receive your order and ship it out that night.
If we receive your order after evening, we will harvest the next day and ship it out that night. For larger orders, please allow one day for preparation.^_^
