2026 Shizuoka Prefecture New Tea (Kabusecha) 110g x 2 bags

Thank you for viewing.
This is new tea harvested from our own farm on the morning of May 6, 2026, and processed at our factory that same afternoon.

Kabusecha is tea grown by covering the tea fields with shading nets for about two weeks to block sunlight. (See the third photo)

Because the new buds are grown without direct sunlight, the tea leaves become a deeper green, have less bitterness, and contain more sweetness and umami, making it an easy-to-drink tea.
(The second photo is before the nets are applied, and the fourth photo is after.)

It is a tea that falls exactly between gyokuro and sencha, and the kabusecha tea leaves have a vibrant, slightly bluish-green color.
The color and aroma will change depending on the water temperature and the amount of tea leaves, so please enjoy it to your preference.
