31.00 $
Description
Offered here is a striking vintage matched pair of salt and pepper shakers featuring a dramatic medieval/folklore scene—a witch (or winged female figure) riding a goat/horse in front of a castle wall. The sculpted relief detail is excellent, with dark accenting that brings out the texture. These display beautifully and are perfect for collectors of folklore, witch imagery, Germanic décor, Gothic/Halloween styling, or unusual vintage kitchenware. Details: • Set: 2 shakers (salt & pepper) • Marking: impressed EB on base; hand-written 66 (likely mold/shape number) • Color: ivory/cream with dark rubbed detailing • Style: medieval / castle / folklore / witch rider motif • Era: vintage (exact maker unknown)
