Offered is an authentic Art Nouveau porcelain celery dish produced circa 1900 by the renowned Reinhold Schlegelmilch porcelain works of Suhl, Germany, widely collected under the RS Prussia name. The elongated molded form was originally intended for formal dining service — traditionally used to present celery, relishes, or olives — yet its sculptural elegance also made it popular for use on dressers and vanities.  The tray features RS Prussia's signature blush ivory ground with soft chocolate airbrushed shading and romantic floral transfer decoration. Flowing asymmetrical scrollwork, raised molded floral relief, and hand-applied gilding exemplify the naturalistic design of the Art Nouveau period.
