While often considered a high-end alternative to Monette, the advantage of Greg Black mouthpieces is that they are actually easier to control and transition to than Monette.
The size is close to the current Bach 10-1/2D, making it very easy to produce high notes. I regularly use a Mt. Vernon 10-1/2C, but I believe this item is superior in terms of ① high note stability, ② richness of sound, and ③ pitch.

Furthermore, the dual cup design is also appealing because it prevents the lips from sticking to the cup even when fatigued.
This mouthpiece is especially recommended for the following individuals:

• Those who want a fatter sound
• Those who want to improve high note stability
• Those upgrading from a Bach-style mouthpiece
• Those for whom Monette did not work out
• Those who play lead trumpet

Regarding the condition, there are minor scratches on the rim and shank, but they do not affect playability at all. The plating is also maintained in near-new condition.

Addendum:
When I previously listed this item, I stated it was a Roy Stevens Signature Model. However, there is officially no Roy Stevens model. Furthermore, based on the shape and engraving, it is possible this is an early Greg Black mouthpiece that was custom-ordered. Therefore, the JK-RS1 engraving on this item is likely the initials of the orderer or has experimental significance. I apologize for the correction.
