This is a fun and fantastic 1980s Christmas Brooch. The star, is Santa Claus, yes St. Nicholas, as a Crescent Moon and sporting a fur lined red hat, typical of his many elf helpers. The hat and mustache are enameled on the rhodium plated gold metal which forms the remainder of the brooch. It is signed AAi (Accessories Associates, Inc.) en bas.
