Description

My mother, who loves tea, used this at her home.

This is a Kaga Kutani ware tea set with red and gold overglaze enamel.
It features a gorgeous and beautiful Utsuke (raised enamel) style, based on the five colors known as Gozai: red, yellow, green, purple, and cobalt blue.
This set is particularly adorned with intricate paintings of figures (such as immortals) that heavily utilize gold and red, showcasing extremely high-level craftsmanship.

Teapot: Height 7.5cm
Diameter 9cm
Handle length 4cm
Teacup: Length 4.5cm
Width 7.5cm
Teapot cooler: Length 4.5cm
Width 8.5cm

There are no noticeable scratches or stains, but I believe it is quite old.

Thank you for your consideration.
